Gloria, the Community Manager, received us and proceeded to make us feel right at home. After touring several other properties in ABQ, we certainly noticed the differences at La Ventana. Gloria is an experienced & seasoned professional – nothing escapes her meticulous eye for perfection. The grounds are immaculately maintained and have a true park-like appearance. The apartments were unlike any others we previously viewed – we instantly felt like we were “home!” Everything about La Ventana was elegant & dignified – truly elevated living in ABQ.

Absolute favorite complex I’ve had the pleasure of staying. La Ventana Apartments is an outstanding place to live, offering a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and beautiful surroundings. The community is well-maintained, with spacious layouts, large patios, and plenty of storage. The amenities, including a fitness center, playground, and dog park, make everyday life more enjoyable. I might be working all the time and don’t use them however I do enjoy them occasionally. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, and the office staff is always friendly and helpful. Ray I believe is the head of maintenance and cannot tell you how professional and knowledgeable this man is! I forget the main leasing agent up front but she is the sweetest and always makes me feel taken care of. The neighborhood is peaceful, yet close to shopping, dining, and outdoor activities. The Albertsons is right across the street and doesn’t have any crime which was one thing I was worried about. Grocery store parking lots are typically sketchy in this town at least in my experience. Residents appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and friendly neighbors. With stunning views and top-notch service, this community truly feels like home. Living here is an easy choice for anyone seeking quality and comfort.

We had a need to not only live in a good apartment, but also one with good management/maintenance personnel/etc. Everybody working at La Ventana has been wonderful to talk to, competent, and helpful. Edward Lopez primarily helped us lease here, and was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly - going above and beyond in these categories. We were legitimately impressed with how he treated us through the process. Over 6 months in and we haven't had any issues here. When we have a maintenance issue they make it easy on us cause they handle it quickly & properly fix the issue contrasting how other places can be. Everything I am mentioning is an extreme relief after having been treated poorly by people working at another apartment as well as other problems there. We are extremely, legitimately thankful to be able to leave that bad experience behind since now we are here at La Ventana. So much to deal with in life without having to deal with problems cause of apartments and its personnel. If you can relate: I'd definitely recommend living here. -Michael Thank you Edward for helping us get a nice apartment and into a better home, we have enjoyed being here this far. The maintenance here is exceptionally fast in my opinion with fixes being done well! I was surprised how quick the maintenance was to install a new dryer for us when we had a broken one. La Ventana team keeps up with a nice environment for everyone and I see they keep making great improvements - so thank you all for giving us a good home to live - It is very much appreciated. You really know the worth of a home, when you've lived somewhere with a lot of bad treatment and experiences. We had some maintenance needs in the apartment and submitted our request to Leon, the community assistant property manager. He was very kind and professional. He made note of our needs and submitted our list to their maintenance department. I was amazed at the response. Ray, their maintenance manager, was at our door within an hour. He was there to fix the problems. He did so professionally and with great respect. It’s not often you find an apartment complex that will respond to a maintenance request in that short of time. My hat is off to Ray. They are so lucky to have him and Leon. Great job! Keep it up!

I recommend this place. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The place is near Sandia mtn and so beautiful. I always loved the view. My family and I took long walks toward the mtn. This place is a very peaceful and safe place to live. Pets are welcomed. My cat always loved the company of watching other pets walking by. Grilling, pool, spa, and fitness center were great. Office staff and maintenance workers are very professional. Specifically, Gloria and Leon. Whenever, I called with quetions, there was always a pleasant response "how can I help you!" That's the who they are. They tended to our needs and resolved issues promptly. Management is great. They are very busy always, the place is always clean, and upgrades are always happening. Parking was never an issue. There were plenty of spaces. If I were to move here again, I would! I had to move due to my work. I traveled a great distance everyday. Therefore, I had to move. There are many exciting and laughable memorable moments that I will cherish here. Thank you La Ventana staff.

La Ventana Apartments is one of fourteen complexes I visited during a two-day whirlwind visit to Albuquerque in search of a community which I would soon call home. I was assisted by and toured the community with Leon Burge. Soon after this I decided that La Ventana would be the next place I call home. Many overwhelming logistics followed in order to make this a smooth and successful cross-country move for myself. Leon was instrumental in this process for me! Leon consistently demonstrated respectful patience with my questioning of nearly everything (things are done differently in this state than the one I relocated from); proved knowledgeable and provided guidance (which I critically needed) in what/where I needed to contact to set up all the necessary new accounts; promptly communicated with me regarding documents, financial exchanges, etc.; made (and continues to) make himself available to answer any and all of my questions regarding community areas, package lockers, valet trash service/process, interpreting/understanding the utility billing, among other things. My utmost appreciation and gratitude to Leon Burge! Thank you for all your help!

Maintenance here is the BEST! How many apartment dwellers can say THAT? Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, caring, honest, and they treat you like family. And if an issue happens to be challenging, they don’t shrug you off, make some excuses, and then forget about you. I had a problem with my washing machine on a Saturday. It gave out a lot of smoke. So I sent in a repair request. 40 minutes later, the repairman, Richard, showed up. He spotted the issue quickly and within 20 minutes, he replaced the machine with a brand new one. Richard was friendly, courteous, and most of all, he knows his trade. Kudos to the entire La Ventana team and especially to Richard. Can’t imagine living anywhere else in Albuquerque.

I’ve been a resident here since 2016 and I’ve experienced a number of management companies. It felt like a revolving door for a while. To my utter surprise and amazement, LEON from the office called me TO FOLLOW UP ON A MAINTENANCE ISSUE. First of all, thank you for treating me like a human being. Second of all, do not leave. You have elevated the customer service experience here by a mile. Residents tend to feel that we are money generators and nothing more. So it would be nice to get some amenities FOR the residents like gatherings, food trucks, contests, INSTEAD OF instituting charges that we have no control over, like CAM charges for a rental. Keep Leon on and he will elevate the perception of what it’s really like to live here.

As a single woman, I felt very safe, the management was so friendly and very responsive whenever I needed anything. I’ve been living here since January 2022 and I absolutely love it here. I work in the film industry so I’m always looking for short term housing. When my first project concluded, the leasing office was so incredibly helpful in transferring me to another apartment in the development. And after that project ended, they were able to act quickly and help me keep the existing apartment. The management here and their hospitality have been outstanding. The facilities are fantastic, including the pool and grilling areas, the Amazon hub lockers, secure mailboxes, and nightly garbage pickup. The grounds are kept very clean and it’s so convenient to walk across the street to the Albertsons for groceries while overlooking the Sandia mountains. A very easy 5 stars to give

Notified the apartment personnel of no water pressure in the shower/tub area. They responded within 30 minutes. The maintenance person was very professional and knowledgeable of the problem. Have lived here almost a year. My apartment has been a safe, quiet place with no issues. I’ve only had to call maintenance one time for a breaker issue. Ray and his team took care of the issue quickly. Haven’t had any problems since. A hose bib also started leaking on the side of our building in freezing temps. Ray from maintenance came to our apartment on Tuesday as expected. At first, he said it might be a clog in the the clothes dryer exhaust. I explained that the dryer was working fine on Friday but on Saturday morning the dryer was producing any heat to dry the clothes. Ray said the exhaust looked clear and he would have to see if there was another dryer available. It might take until Friday to get one if there was a vacant apartment. It would take a longer time, maybe two weeks or more if he had to order one. On Wednesday afternoon there was a knock on the door. Ray had found a brand new clothes dryer for us! Thanks to Ray for a great job finding the dryer for us and installing in a timely manner. Greatly appreciated in a home where a nurse lives. Those uniforms have to be washed every day.

I moved to La Ventana apartments from South Carolina about a month ago, and I've been very happy with my decision so far! Kaleah, in particular, was extremely helpful and informative when I visited the complex for a tour, answering all of my questions and guiding me through the application process once I made the decision to stay here. She continued to be helpful after I signed the lease contract, taking the time to develop a 'resident guide' with local restaurants, trails, and breweries -- something that was much appreciated since I have such limited prior knowledge of the area. Beyond that, the complex is located in a great location in Albuquerque -- there are many great walking trails in the immediate vicinity and the area feels a little quieter/more secluded than living in the city might suggest, but it is also just a quick, easy drive into the downtown area for work or other city activities. All in all, this has been a great apartment decision so far, and I'm looking forward to exploring more of the area over the next year.

Customer service is Top Tier!!! My husband and I took a tour of a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom with leasing consultant Kaleah Baca. She was the best, answered all of our questions and concerns. Made us feel welcomed as well as let us know about promotions going on. She even went out her way to check in and send us updates on new apartment availabilities. Unfortunately, We ended up purchasing a house instead. But if we didn’t, We’d definitely be signing a lease with this apartment complex. This is by far the best apartment complex I’ve lived in. Very peaceful & quiet, great amenities and an awesome front office staff to top it off. Everything is very well maintained and repairs are always taken care of in a timely manner. I can’t think of anything I would change. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a new home. A quick update to this review. I live here with my fiancée and we are nearing the end of our lease. We were recently informed that our rent will be increased by $190 if we wish to renew our lease. So we are moving out because we simply can’t afford this kind of increase. I wish we could stay here, and it really is a shame.

Update to previous review: Jacqueline never gave up on ensuring our needs were addressed. Our dryer was replaced and other issues we had were addressed by Ray (so friendly). I still see an occasional bug here and there but the pest control is a work order away. Our lease ends the end of this month and I was seriously thinking of staying here another few months but I have a strict budget and rent would be more but a much nicer apartment. I love the area and very professional staff which never gave up on our requests/complaints. Very safe here too. I will truly miss living here. Do not rent here please. I never write reviews but I have to warn everyone that these apartments are infested with cockroaches and the worst management I have ever experienced. Their system of making payments is horrible with password resets not responded to by email like all other password resets. My theory is because they want more money, late payment fees, etc. In addition, phone calls are not answered. Horrible customer service. No response or untimely response to maintenance issues. Please go elsewhere for renting an apartment and read reviews.

The first person I met while renting was Kaleah. She was professional, courteous, and attentive. There is a lot of paperwork to submit, and Kaleah was helpful and patient. The manager, Jacqueline, was very knowledgeable and able to assist me with some questions I had about the lease and terms. The grounds are kept immaculate. Thus far the complex is quiet, with a mixture of families, retirees, and single people. My apartment was ready on time for move in. It was clean and I’m very good shape. The location is great....so close to groceries and many amenities. I use the gym everyday and it is well equipped. Leasing at La Ventana has been a great experience.

Charley was there and since it was not an emergency situation, just a horrible inconvenience, she agreed to help me unclog my toilet. Apart from the spacious upscale apartments with the right ammenities such as pool,gym,and community center, what stood out was the way I was treated by the informative and friendly staff when I was shown the property and the different layouts there. I have lived at La Ventana since late 2013 and have been glad to be here. In a large apartment complex, maintenance and office staff are one of the most important factors since it is inevitable that a problem will arise. It is easy to submit a maintenance request online and maintenance staff are quick to take care of it. Office staff is friendly and responsive and very helpful in taking care of questions, problems, and any business matters. It has been almost a year now that the coronavirus has upended what used to be normal life and I have been amazed at how the staff somehow manages to keep everything functioning properly when they deal with so many issues. My two-bedroom unit is the best layout I've ever seen: remarkably open, lots of natural light, plenty of ways to arrange your furniture. The apartment grounds are attractive, spacious, and well-cared for. Depending on the apartment location, you may have a beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains. Sunsets can be wondrous. If you are a hiker, you will want to explore. For me, the location could not be better because trails on the lower flanks begin just minutes from the apartments. Runners, walkers, and cyclists all have much to enjoy. A useful shopping center is across the street: not too big, not too small. You may even see a roadrunner darting around the apartment grounds!

The entire staff, the apartment itself, premises, amenities and views of the Sandia are great especially when compared with other apartment complexes within similar price range. I do not write many reviews, but this time I had to. Ray and Isaiah PROMPTLY came out to my apartment only minutes after receiving my phone call about a broken heater. Within a few hours AND on the first busy snow day of the year, they had diagnosed the problem and fully coordinated its repair. I was shocked at how professionally, efficiently, and rapidly they served me and many others that day at La Ventana. Also, shout out to Asst Manager Angela Armijo who helped streamline the coordination, as well! They are a great team here. Thank you!

The complex is super quiet and safe (it feels like a college campus), and my unit has a balcony facing these absolutely gorgeous mountains. Big shouts to Ray and Isaiah on maintenance; these two are so nice and go out of their way to go the extra mile. Four stars because the transition to new management over the summer was a little bumpy, but it seems like the front office is functioning well now. I'll definitely be living here for awhile.

I went in to look for my new home and as La VENTANA is out of my price range the people in the office are amazing Angela is the lady who showed me around the community and was super friendly welcoming and helpful!! I also met the manager Jacqueline and she was really nice. Even though I couldn’t move in I definitely would recommend this place it’s a beautiful place and the few people that lived there that I met said it was definitely worth the price!!

This is a great community. The buildings and common areas are well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Any time I have a question or an issue, it gets answered or solved in a timely manner. All the amenities are great - but I really enjoy the grilling and lounge area by the pool which perfect for a barbecue, relaxing, and watching the game.

One thing which really resonated with me, they empathized and understood my story, guaranteed their word, and saw my initiative to approve my move-in. My apartment is new (outside of the dishwasher, washer &dryer), quiet neighborhood, quiet complex, near the mountain view from my patio, 10mins to food. I've lived here going on 2months now and I'll be here until I graduate. Thank you so much for making my life extremely better!

I love most things about living at La Ventana. Location, safety, community feel, surroundings, and maintenance staff. I love the pool, the grounds, the amazon hub and more. What I don’t love is the things that have been allowed to fall into disrepair. The buildings as a whole need a lot of work. ALL the windows need replacing. Some appliances are very old. Our garbage disposal backs up constantly despite careful use, and we’ve had more plumbing issues than I can count. The hot tub is broken and I’m sure will be closing the pool for a very long time if it ever gets fixed. Are we paying for the thousands upon thousands of gallons of water leaking out of the hot tub? We don’t know but our water bill has skyrocketed! The office staff is constantly turning over. There is very little contact from the office keeping residents updated on situations like the hot tub. Most office staff seem overwhelmed, likely underpaid, and frequently don’t know what they are doing. I feel for the degree of general disrepair inside apartments, of the buildings themselves and in the pool area we should be paying a lot less than what we are.

The grounds of the complex are beautiful. It is like living within a park. Wide variety of trees/shrubs and ample green space. There is even a gated dog park and agility equipment for dog activities! The grounds also have a modern playground for kids and it always seems to be active at night with children and parents. The pool is awesome and feels luxurious. Luxury is taken to the next level with the grills that are located within the pool area. Ample space around the pool and grill area also make the experience even better as you don't feel cramped and "contained" within any particular area in the pool area. Furthermore, I love my living space and the layout in my two bedroom is awesome! My patio is spacious and roomy enough to have patio furniture and enough walking space as to not be pressed against the railing. Thanks La Ventana and office and maintenance staff for making my luxury apartment living feel luxurious!!

Beautiful renovated apartments. I love all the windows. Felt more homey. Friendly staff that helped us with the process for applying. We heard back asap on if we qualified unfortunately we didn't fall through and went with another apartment complex. No complaints besides we never got our 100$ deductable back from corporate. For the 200$ fee.

I've lived here for a couple of years now and absolutely love these apartments. The apartments are quite modern, the grounds are practically immaculate, and maintenance responds super fast. Most importantly, the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Amber always greets me with a smile right as I walk in and has always answered my questions in such a timely fashion. Summer and Nicole are great as well! I would recommend this place to anyone and intend on living here for years to come.

I LOVE THESE APARTMENTS!! I've lived here for 2 years and just renewed my lease for another year. The grounds are beautiful, the apartments are the perfect size & layout, and the staff is great! They remember everyone's names and apartment numbers and always make us feel like their #1 priority. Maintenance responds quickly to requests and often goes over-the-top to fix it (as in, they just buy you a new version of whatever broke). The apartments are newly renovated; nice carpet & flooring. Open, sunny, cheerful. I always get compliments as soon as people walk in the door. Pool & fitness center are nice, too!
